How do I close a jump ring correctly?
1: Always use 2 pliers (chain or bent-nose) to open and close a jump ring. Grasp the ring on either side of the opening with the pliers.
2: Gently push one side away while pulling the other side toward you, so the ring opens from side to side.
When closing the ring reverse the directions.
